06/15/2011: SelecTV and Cognacq-Jay Image launches push VOD over satellite

SelecTV relies on Cognacq-Jay Image technical expertise for the creation of its new Push VOD over satellite offer from June 2011 before the launch of the DTT offer at the end of the year.

Cognacq-Jay Image ingests SelecTV contents, do the video processing, the encryption and the delivery on Eutelsat platform that publishes the editorialised programs to SelecTV subscribers.
BeBanjo, another TDF company, provides SelecTV with dedicated user-friendly interfaces enabling to smoothly drive programmation workflows.
The « MediaOnDemand » offer enables to easily create VOD, Push VOD and Catch up TV on every connected screen.

Developped by TV NUM, SelecTV is a broadcast VOD service. It aims at publishing an on-demand TV programmation to answer a family target, who is increasingly demanding.
This offer is composed by 2 types of subscriptions:
- « SELECTION »  offers a very wide choice of exclusive TV series but also documentaries, music, youth programs and sport informations available without limitation with a subscription fee.
- « A LA SEANCE » enables Pay-Per-View and the availability of really recent movies (only 4 months after cinema screen release) and special cultural or sport events.
